On 24 April 2020, the government and the European Commission each published a statement on the outcome of the second round of negotiations on the future UK-EU relationship. The statements referred to limited and disappointing progress, particularly in relation to level playing field, governance and fisheries matters.
The Welsh Government has published the draft of proposed Water Resources (Control of Agricultural Pollution) (Wales) Regulations 2020 for stakeholders and interested parties to understand the potential measures that could apply in Wales to tackle pollution from agricultural activity. The draft regulations have not been introduced to the Welsh Assembly.
